In this role, you will:
• manage and coordinate the provision of collection services
• lead, motivate and develop staff in a customer-focused environment
• provide advice on collections management
• develop and manage stakeholder relationships
• effectively develop and communicate business processes and operational procedures
• provide policy interpretation, advice and support to client management, staff and stakeholders
What you bring to the team
Leadership and Management Skills
• You have experience managing staff in a unionized workplace
• You have experience managing staff to deliver results and meet performance measures
• You have demonstrated leadership and mentorship skills, including coaching, performance management, and team building
• You have the demonstrated ability to plan and manage material, financial and human resources, including labour relations issues(e.g. attendance management, discipline)
• You can foster an inclusive work environment with employees and stakeholders
Financial Administration Knowledge
• You have demonstrated knowledge of accounting and financial management principles and practices
• You have the ability to interpret and apply financial and accounting policies, guidelines, administrative practices and related legislation
• You have experience in accounts receivable and collections practices
• You have experience in financial analysis, revenue management budgeting and accounting
• You understand computer systems and applications used in financial administration
Program Delivery Expertise
• You can develop, implement and monitor performance measures to ensure effective, efficient operations
• You have good analytical skills to analyze program and client service requirements, predict future needs, resolve problems, and assess operational performance data
• You have experience managing and responding to program issues

• You have proven written communication skills to prepare briefing notes, senior official correspondence, unit policies and procedures
