You will independently and as part of a team: support leading-edge policy analysis and research by reviewing and evaluating environmental decisions and making policy recommendations; ensure compliance of prescribed ministries with the Environmental Bill of Rights; prepare briefings and other correspondence on policy, legal/scientific/economic/social aspects of environmental issues.

Thorough knowledge of environmental and energy conservation issues, and related policies and legislation; ability to solve complex problems and take initiative; superior research, analysis, and writing skills; strong communication skills to provide internal briefings, liaise with ministry staff, and interact with the public; advanced computer skills.
