• Conduct independent analysis for the planning, development, and implementation of strategic initiatives
• Provide policy and issues analysis
• Plan and develop research reports and issues analysis documents
• Prepare background papers and briefing notes to support the work of the branch

What you bring to the team


Policy Research, Analysis and Development:

• Knowledge of policy development and review processes and methods
• Knowledge financial sector policy related to securities, insurance and pension regulation and legislation
• Research and analysis skills to develop and implement recommendations

Communication and Stakeholder Management:

• Knowledge of consultation and communications principles and methods to lead in internal and external stakeholder consultation
• Superior communication and presentation skills to prepare reports, correspondence, briefing materials and speeches

Project Management:

• Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices
• Organizational skills to coordinate projects involving public and private sector participants
