About the job

You will:
- provide financial controllership functions for the division
- facilitate the research, planning and implementation of business practices, strategies and policies
- co-ordinate the development and implementation of the divisional business plan
- provide strategic business advice and consultation services on business processes and change initiatives
- prepare briefings, reports and project plans
- provide executive support to the Divisional Management Team.

What you bring to the team


Communication, consulting and team leadership skills:

-You have well developed oral and written communication skills to prepare and present material such as business cases, marketing and communications plans, policies and procedures, and briefing notes.
-You have strong consulting and team leadership skills to provide expertise, advice and guidance to senior management and to effectively work in a team environment.

Business related knowledge and skills:

-You have strong knowledge of strategic, operational and financial-planning, financial management and controllership, policy development, and the business planning cycle.
-You have knowledge and skills in project planning, monitoring and evaluation methods.
-You have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of research methodologies and techniques and statistical analyses to conduct research projects and to develop/utilize various models, tools and prototypes.

Other essential knowledge and skills:

- You have judgement, problem solving and negotiation skills to develop recommendations to senior management.
- You have applied knowledge of various software packages including word processing, databases, graphics and project management and financial systems.
