The Ministry of Children and Youth Services' specialized services and supports branch is seeking an innovative, results-oriented leader to manage the special needs unit responsible for the development of policies and programs for children and youth with special needs.
About the job
As manager of the special needs unit, you will:
• Undertake ministry-wide and inter-ministerial collaboration in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive policies and programs to support the government's agenda for children and youth with special needs.
• Establish and maintain strong intra- and inter-ministerial and stakeholder relationships.
• To provide strategic leadership on key policy development and program design initiatives in the area of children and youth with special needs.

• You have experience building and maintaining relationships across the organization and externally to gather input and build consensus in order to deliver on priorities.
