The Ministry of the Attorney General (MAG), Legal Services Division seeks an accomplished legal manager to assist the Director in the management and provision of legal services to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Ministry of Rural Affairs.
About the job
Duties Will Include: You will: support and assist the Director in the management of the Legal Services Branch and the delivery of quality legal services including the provision of legal advice to senior management in the areas of agricultural law, public law, corporate and commercial law, administrative law, planning law, food safety law; provide advice in respect of legislative development as well as policy and operational initiatives; assist with strategic/operational planning, performance planning and performance management, administrative and human resource matters; mentor counsel and provide guidance to counsel on high profile or complex issues, as required; act as Director in the Director's absence.

Knowledge & Skills
