The Ministry of the Attorney General, Communications Branch, is seeking a Senior Coordinator to plan, develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate strategic communications and issues management plans, projects and activities.
About the job
In this role, you will:
• develop, implement and evaluate complex strategic and integrated marketing communications plans, projects and activities
• research, write and edit communications and integrated marketing products, including news releases, speeches, Q&As, event plans, web content and promotional material
• provide communications advice, services and products to senior management including the Minister's/Deputy Minister's Offices
• prepare project management and implementation plans
• liaise with other ministry/division staff in planning and delivering complex communications services
What you bring to the team
Communications Knowledge and Skills:
• your strong knowledge of communications and integrated marketing principles and practices allow you to develop and manage complex communications strategies
• you demonstrate knowledge of strategic communications, planning and implementation
• you have the ability to interpret and apply corporate directions, legislations, policies, programs and services to provide strategic advice and services to the Minister's and Deputy Minister's offices, senior management, central agencies and colleagues
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
• you have superior written communication skills to write and edit a variety of materials
• your exceptional oral communication and interpersonal skills allow you to discuss client program objectives, new initiatives, communication and integrated marketing requirements
Project Management, Problem Solving and Organizational Skills:
• you can effectively plan and coordinate activities, services and competing priorities while meeting conflicting deadlines
