About the job
You will:
• develop and monitor standards, processes, methods, techniques and controls to ensure optimum application development, design, testing and implementation
• develop proposals and make recommendations on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications
• provide team and project leadership related to application and business process design solutions, services, quality assurance, and implementation
• design and implement Oracle-based reporting solutions including dashboards and portal-based interfaces
• gather reporting requirements and develop project estimates
• oversee support for production reports and nightly loads of operational data into a dimensional data store
• supervise changes into production and establish quality assurance
• design, maintain and administer the Discoverer metadata model (EUL) for over 30 business areas
What you bring to the team
Technical Skills and Knowledge
• you have demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills with business intelligence and reporting applications within large scale Oracle Financials or similar Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• you have knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence applications with other financial, custom and third party applications
• you have knowledge of and experience in designing and implementing dimensional data stores using Oracle
• you have knowledge of and experience with data structures in Oracle financials
• you have experience designing performance measurement applications
• you can understand financial business processes and reporting in order to develop business solutions
Relationship Management, Team and Project Leadership Skills
• you have demonstrated excellent project management and team leadership skills
• you can manage concurrent projects in a systems environment and provide formal production support functions and processes related to large-scale ERP implementation and sustainment (e.g. Enhanced Reporting applications: Financial and Management Reporting – Discoverer Viewer, Plus, OWC and Dashboard, GL & Planning – Oracle Financial Analyzer)
•you have strong relationship management, negotiation, consultation and client service skills
•you have strong communication skills with the ability to influence others and present material clearly and concisely
Analytical, Problem Solving and Organization Skills
• you can research, analyze and resolve complex problems
• you can prioritize and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
