About the job

Duties Will Include: You will provide full range of expert real estate services both transaction based and advisory services including: drafting/negotiating/advising/registering documents related to financing, security transactions and title; advising on court orders, listing, disclosures, building assessments, tax law implications; advising on personal property, corporate-commercial issues, procurement and Crown liability; maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders such as Land Registry Offices, Real Estate agents, Crown Attorneys, law enforcement community, victims' services, other government Ministries/Agencies; providing services to support the work and program of the Civil Remedies Office.

Membership in the Law Society of Upper Canada

Knowledge & Skills

You have extensive experience conducting transactions and drafting/negotiating documents/agreements related to property, contracts, corporate/commercial, procurement, land use planning, and municipal law and practice. You have demonstrated experience working with Teraview, and with all types of property related searches. You have superior analytical skills to assess legal implications/risks and ability to devise innovative solutions to complex problems. You have excellent judgment and flexibility, and excellent organizational, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. You work well in a team environment and within short timelines. You have computer and financial literacy.
