Mandatory requirements
Valid Ontario Class “G” driver's licence.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
You have significant, direct experience in sales and business development, with demonstrated success in your profession.
You have knowledge and experience in cold call selling.
You have knowledge of best practices in identifying sales prospects and experience closing a sale.
You have knowledge of the tourism industry and the unique attractions and brand position of the St. Lawrence Parks Commission.
You have experience building and selling the profile and image of a revenue generating business. You have experience building the profile and positive image of a brand.
LEADERSHIP, PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH SKILLS:
You have the ability to lead the planning, development and implementation of innovative sales and business development plans.
You have an ability to research and identify new partnership opportunities for multiple business units to achieve targeted sales goals.
You have an understanding of market research methods to prepare advertising opportunities for prospective clients.
COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
You have professional communication and interpersonal skills to develop and negotiate strategic business partnerships and relationship building skills to manage contract relationships.
