About the job
• handle a variety of administrative and financial tasks
• provide customer service and respond to inquiries from the public, private and industrial clients
• provide office reception, mail, filing and clerical functions
• create and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and file classification system
• prepare correspondence, reports and presentations
What you bring to the team
Mandatory requirements
• You must have advanced oral French language skills
Administrative Knowledge
• You have experience providing administrative and financial support
• You have proven knowledge of general office administration functions
• You have knowledge of filing and records management practices and procedures
• You have an understanding of purchasing and budgetary policies and procedures
• You know how to use computers and relevant software such as word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation applications
Prioritization and Problem-Solving Skills:
• You can prioritize multiple tasks to meet conflicting deadlines
• You demonstrate strong judgment when responding to the public and government staff and direct them as required
• You can determine the appropriate response to difficult inquiries
• You can identify issues, propose solutions, and take corrective actions
