About the job

In this role, you will:

• support and carry out professional, horizontal, one-employer generalist HR services;
• provide proactive services to client managers and HR Advisors;
• assist in providing advice on the application and interpretation of collective agreements, legislation, policies and directives;
• liaise with HROntario partners;
• assist in preparing, updating and maintaining position specifications;
• assist in the management of grievances;
• research and analyze information to support HR Advisors and clients.

What you bring to the team


Human Resources Knowledge:

• You demonstrate knowledge of the established theories, principles and practices of human resources management.
• You have the ability to interpret and apply human resources policies, collective agreements, and related legislation.

Communication Skills:

• You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide proactive support.
• You demonstrate customer service skills and the ability to provide advice.
• You have the ability to prepare a variety of written materials such as position descriptions, correspondence, and reports.

Research, Analytical, Problem-Solving and Organization Skills:

• You have the ability to assist in analyzing and describing job functions.
• You possess the ability to deal with competing priorities in a fast paced environment.

General skills:
