About the job
As the Oracle Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
• providing comprehensive expertise in implementing and supporting large Oracle based business intelligence, analytics or planning, budgeting and forecasting systems
• providing Oracle business intelligence solution analysis, design, development, testing and quality assurance expertise (for example: Oracle Discoverer 11G, Oracle BI Suite Enterprise Edition, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase, Financial Data Quality Management)
• developing, maintaining and adhering to performance measures, benchmarking and quality assurance standards
• providing business process, functional and technical information/training to targeted stakeholders and solution partners through a variety of channels
• providing on-call support to daily batch processing as well as working with partners to provide immediate resolution to critical application incidents
What you bring to the team
Technical Knowledge and Experience:
• you have strong background and knowledge of implementing and providing production support for large Oracle applications (for example: Oracle Discoverer 11G, Oracle BI Suite Enterprise Edition, Oracle Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase)
• you have demonstrated experience using Enterprise Resource Planning financial and business intelligence systems
• you have knowledge of financial and management accounting
• you are knowledgeable of internal control procedures, business management frameworks, financial operations and controllership models
Project Management Experience:
• you have experience with formal systems implementation and current methodologies in managing projects such as Oracle Unified Method and gap analysis
• you are very organized and able to meet deliverables and targets
Analytical and Communication Skills:
• you have strong writing and oral communication skills
• you are comfortable developing presentation and training material
• you can present material to various clients, stakeholders and senior managers
• you are a good problem-solver who can resolve issues effectively
• you have strong analytical skills and are able to identify issues
