If so, get ready to set the direction for planning and management of the delivery of facility and office accommodation projects at numerous locations across the province in this role as Corporate Accommodation Management Coordinator with MNR.

About the job

You will:
- provide strategic business and financial planning, analysis, reporting and advice for the ministry's senior ministry management staff and corporate accommodations committee
- manage MNR's relationship with Infrastructure Ontario and their service providers
- coordinate preparation and communication of the Ministry's corporate accommodation plan
- lead corporate monitoring, evaluation and reporting for accommodation portfolio management
- lead the development, deployment and maintenance of corporate accommodation management business processes/practices
- coordinate clean-up/remediation projects at former ministry operating locations

What you bring to the team


Mandatory:

• valid class G driver's licence or equivalent as recognized by the Province of Ontario

Leadership, planning and project management skills:

• demonstrated ability to supervise staff and manage issues to ensure achievement of program objectives
• ability to lead analysis/diagnosis of management systems, problem-solving and continuous business process improvement initiatives

Technical knowledge/skills:

• experience with modern facilities management/real property management theories, principles and practices to lead and provide advice on complex projects
• demonstrated knowledge of modern controllership practices, management systems theory, design of internal controls and risk assessment/management for accommodation planning, acquisition, management and disposal/facility decommissioning related activities
• working knowledge of financial administration and reporting cycles and asset accounting

Communication skills:

• demonstrated ability to provide advice, guidance and technical and administrative support, prepare routine correspondence and to liaise with all levels of ministry staff and internal and external stakeholders
• consulting, conflict and dispute resolution, negotiation, consensus-building and relationship management skills
