About the job

In this role you will:

- lead/supervise staff in multi-disciplinary teams undertaking complex environmental remedial projects, inspections and investigations
- review comprehensive reports
- approve remedial and/or recommend legal action
- ensure implementation of abatement programs
- provide timely quality service to a diverse client group

What you bring to the team


Communications Skills

- You have proven communication, facilitation, interpersonal and negotiation skills to build stakeholder relationships, prepare reports and presentations, and participate on working groups.

Program delivery/policy development

- You have knowledge of program delivery and policy development as well as evaluation and business planning processes.

Legislative compliance

- You have knowledge of compliance tools and legislative frameworks and legal proceedings to respond to spill situations.

Environmental knowledge

- You have working knowledge of the theories, principles and practices of environmental science (e.g. hydrogeology, biology, chemistry, phytotoxicology, engineering) and industrial/agricultural processes as it applies to environmental situations.

Leadership skills

- You have leadership and supervisory skills to coordinate program delivery activities.
