The Health Services I&IT Cluster is seeking a highly motivated individual to provide technical leadership and expertise to the Integrated Health Solutions Branch.

You will:
• Provide team leadership on small to medium sized projects or on larger projects as a member of the team, in the development of solution approach resulting in a cost effective information technology solutions and services.
• Provide technical consulting expertise in the design, development and maintenance of health applications being implemented to improve management information processing and reporting.
What you bring to the team
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• You have demonstrated knowledge in conducting feasibility studies, cost benefit and risk analyses on complex business systems initiatives and in implementing systems solutions.
• You have demonstrated knowledge of business and systems analysis including process and data modelling techniques (OOAD, UML).
• You have demonstrated knowledge in developing multi-tier web-enabled systems (OLTP, OLAP and Content Management).
• You have the ability to lead teams through development and testing phases within waterfall and/or iterative methodologies.
• You have demonstrated knowledge of and experience in application development including testing, troubleshooting, documentation within environments such as J2EE, .NET, SharePoint and Business Intelligence.
• You have knowledge of tools covering version control (Clearcase, TFS) and change management (Remedy).
• You have knowledge of Web application development, security, scripting (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML), application servers (Websphere/IIS) and database management systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server).LEADERSHIP AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• You have knowledge of team leadership techniques and practices.
• You have knowledge of standard project management methodologies and tools to work with project plans, schedules, cost and resource estimates and ensure project team meet deliverables.COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
• You have oral and written communication skills to explain detailed technical information and make recommendations.
• You have interpersonal skills to deal with complaints, provide clarification and secure consensus for a course of action.ANALYTICAL AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS:
• You have analytical and problem solving skills to identify issues, conduct research and respond appropriately.
