Are you a dynamic leader who can inspire staff to perform in a fast-paced environment? Then come join the team at the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care in the Supply Chain and Facilities Branch of the Corporate Services Division.
The Ontario Government Pharmacy and Medical Supply Services (OGPMSS) Unit and the Procurement Advisory Services Unit are responsible for:
• providing strategic procurement and order management services as well as warehousing and distribution of identified drugs, vaccines and medical supplies in support of provincial health priorities; and,
• delivering end-to-end procurement services for ministry clients, including providing timely and expert advice on all consulting and service procurements.
About the job
As the Senior Manager, Ontario Government Pharmacy/Procurement, you will:
• Lead and direct the strategic planning and management of procurement services for the ministry, in collaboration with Supply Chain Ontario and other partners
• Provide strategic and operational direction for the Ontario Government Pharmacy customer service and warehousing/logistics functions to ensure effective supply and distribution of pharmaceutical and medical supply services for a diverse range of clients
• Develop and sustain partnerships and work collaboratively across the branch/division/ministry as well as with other ministries and jurisdictions to apply systems-thinking in delivering results in support of ministry and government priorities
• Lead a team of OPS professionals to deliver service excellence by fostering and promoting a healthy and productive work environment

Communication and Stakeholder Management:
• You have excellent communication and relationship management skills to coordinate work and build consensus with diverse partners across the province.
• You have experience communicating the findings of research and data analysis in accessible, user-friendly formats.
• You are a strong negotiator who can influence others to find collaborative solutions to complex issues.
