About the job

In this role, you will provide technical guidance to the Ontario Clean Water Agency and its clients on technical, engineering, scientific and regulatory issues related to water and technology. You will work with the optimization team to conduct program reviews / research, assessment, and evaluation on proposed water processes, systems, and plans.

What you bring to the team


Knowledge

• Experience conducting reviews of facility operations and performance for process optimization; recommending process, operational and facility modifications to achieve optimum results and compliance; prepares cost estimates, scope of work package and schedules.
• Ability to analyze and problem solving skills to research and evaluate directions, trends, standards and policies using multiple sources of information to identify requirements, develop options and make recommendations.
• Experience conducting computer modeling of treatment processes to assess plant capacity and treatment options and recommend improvements.
• Knowledge of the theories, principles and practices of monitoring and analyses to evaluate new technologies.
• Knowledge of systems and data management principles including Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA).
• Knowledge of chemical projections, forecasting and optimization.
