About us:
The Office of the Surveyor General administers the Surveyors Act and the Ontario Geographic Names Board Act on behalf of the Province and provides land survey expertise and regulatory support to ensure Ontario's Crown Land is effectively managed. The office is composed of the Crown Land Surveys Unit and the Parcel Mapping & Georeferencing Unit.

What can I expect to do in this role?

In this role, you will:
• lead, manage and coordinate the Parcel Mapping and Georeferencing staff and program.
• provide specialized technical services in Geomatics (creation, maintenance, integrity and application of geospatial data sets) on behalf of province.
• lead information management practices and manage IT solutions and services delivered by other internal organizations and external service providers.
• provide oversight and support to the Ontario Geographic Names Board as necessary.
