About the job

You will:
• provide front-line customer service by processing the sale of entry tickets in a retail environment
• collect and process payments, gather visitor information as required, and reconcile payments and transactions
• handle pre-booked reservations and provide general information to visitors
• handle rental equipment for visitors who need wheelchairs, scooters, snowshoes, skates, etc.
• perform clerical support by preparing bulk mailings, data entry and answer incoming calls
• notify manager of health and safety issues
• deal with customer service issues

NOTE: You will be required to work evenings and weekends.

What you bring to the team


Technical Knowledge

• You possess or have the ability to obtain knowledge of park programs, services, and operating regulations/policies/procedures.
• You possess knowledge of customer service techniques, clerical processes and the ability to operate POS systems to enter and process sales

Interpersonal, Organizational and Communication Skills:

• You possess strong interpersonal skills to interact with the public and provide customer service
• You are a clear, concise oral communicator and can respond to general inquiries while providing information and advice to visitors
• You have demonstrated organizational, mathematical and cash handling skills.

Problem Solving and Analytical Skills:

• You have demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills to probe for information, assess situations and determine appropriate course of action
• You have the ability to understand and apply operational policies to provide information to visitors

Computer Skills:

• You possess the ability to use computers, software applications, databases, POS systems and can perform data entry.
