What can I expect to do in this role?

In this role, you will:

• provide health analytic expertise and consultative advice;
• provide project leadership and co-ordination on a range of analysis and analytic products;
• work with clients to define health analytic needs and project requirements;
• research, develop and implement analytical methodology and statistical applications;
• develop and maintain excellent relationships with a range of clients, partners and stakeholders.

How do I qualify?

Health Analysis Expertise:

• You have extensive quantitative analysis experience in the health field and are skilled in developing and using a range of analytic, statistical, and modelling techniques.
• You have research skills to review, synthesize, and appraise scientific health literature.
• You have experience with a wide range of datasets that are relevant to health.
• You are conversant with a range of statistical software.

Leadership / Project Management Skills:

• You can plan and lead concurrent analytic projects.
• You can use negotiation and facilitation skills to lead work teams.

Communication Skills:

• You can communicate effectively to prepare and present complex analyses and reports for all audiences.
• You have written and oral communication skills to prepare and present reports, including briefing notes, business cases, and other correspondence.

Client / Stakeholder Management Skills:

• You can build and maintain effective internal and external partnerships.
• You can provide expertise and advise to clients on analytic products, reporting capabilities and tools.
• You can represent the branch's and ministry's interests when meeting with stakeholders.
