What can I expect to do in this role?

In this role you will:
• Coordinate ministry Web site management
• Maintain sites and audit links to ensure content complies
• Design and coordinate layout of corporate material for the Web
• Advise on use of the Internet/Intranet for ministry communications strategies
• Consult with clients to identify and clarify needs
• Project manage internet/intranet initiatives from conception to launch and evaluation
• Coordinate communication received and sent through the sites

How do I qualify?

Mandatory

You must possess oral French language skills at the advanced level and written French language skills at the advanced-plus level. Your proficiency level will be confirmed before hire.

Intranet and Internet Skills

• You have experience developing and managing web sites
• You know HTML related software
• You have knowledge of site navigation techniques, planning, archiving methods and practices
• You have experience writing, editing, designing and coding documents

Project Management, Priority-Setting and Organizational Skills

• You are able to plan and manage multiple projects from conception to launch and evaluation
• You can adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment

Communication and Customer Service Skills

• You can express technical ideas verbally and in writing
• You can negotiate and manage competing demands
• You are able to negotiate and influence stakeholders
• You have a strong focus on customer service and are able to act with tact

Other skills

• You pay close attention to detail and accuracy
• You have strong team building techniques to work with cross-divisional teams
• You can work independently
