Consider this unique and challenging opportunity to work with IT Source, in the Central Agencies I&IT Cluster within the Treasury Board Secretariat, where you will play a key role providing senior leadership to a portfolio responsible for providing various enterprise products and services across government.

Note: These positions are located at 222 Jarvis Street, Toronto and/or 33 King Street West Oshawa; however, alternate work arrangements including flexible hours, hybrid remote work, and compressed work week may be available.

IT Source provides People Placement, Enterprise Project and Cloud Services to clients across the Ontario Public Service (OPS) and beyond. What can I expect to do in this role?

As the Senior Resource Manager, you will:

• Provide senior leadership, coaching and mentoring to a team of I&IT managers who are each responsible for their own individual portfolio of services and resources.
• Establish business consulting portfolio priorities, operational policies, service delivery standards and high-level project objectives for multiple concurrent major activities.
• Plan and manage the development and review of I&IT strategies and transformation plans, applying problem solving and issues management for the portfolios.
• Develop and sustain partnerships with stakeholders to provide advice and devise I&IT strategies that support their business needs.
• Lead large business and technology transformation initiatives, including the enhancement of tools, resources and technology platforms to contribute to digital modernization.

• You demonstrate the leadership behaviours, attributes and mindset for leaders, across the organization, to lead the OPS into the future and deliver our vision.
• You have demonstrated experience as an organizational leader, including setting strategic direction.
• You demonstrate the ability to lead, coach, and manage other high-performing IT managers in a fast-paced business environment with multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities and resource constraints.
• You are an innovative thinker and have the ability to seek opportunities to develop staff and improve systems, processes and business models.
• You have the proven ability to manage financial resources and budgets, including costing and pricing structures within a cost recovery business environment.

Relationship Management and Interpersonal Skills

• You have expertise in building and maintaining collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, business partners and clients across a large and complex organization.
• You are able to effectively manage expectations and influence others to find business oriented and collaborative solutions for complex issues.
• You have a strong commitment to customer service excellence.
• You have superior communication skills to provide expertise, advice and recommendations to senior executives during program planning and issues resolution processes.

Change Management Skills

• You have well-developed change management skills to initiate, maintain, and deliver transformational I&IT solutions.
• You can effectively anticipate and identify potential risks and issues and lead the development of risk mitigation strategies.
• You have knowledge and expertise in project management principles and methodologies to manage the delivery of program mandates and strategies.
• You have demonstrated experience in developing and implementing change management/transformation strategies, including the use of different approaches for implementation.
• You can lead the planning and implementation of complex change and transformation initiatives for programs and organizations by leading high-performing teams and working with internal and external partners.

Technical Knowledge

• You have knowledge of policies, standards, and processes governing I&IT application development, deployment, and maintenance in order to develop and prioritize complex strategic technology implementation and client program delivery plans.
• You have strong knowledge of procurement, service management and business consulting principles and practices.
