The Ontario Science Centre Recreational Programs Department offers science-based Day Camps and other programs, for youth 4-14. During the summer and other school breaks we operate a large-scale Day Camp program and require enthusiastic Junior Recreational Program Assistants (Jr RPAs) to assist in the supervision of children and the delivery of a safe and successful program experience.
Please note that Jr RPAs will be asked to make a commitment to attend all training dates and to work as scheduled during our Summer Camp program, with no guarantee of hours.
The Jr. RPA is a Student position and scheduling is strictly limited to natural school breaks (summer, Holiday/Winter Break and March Break).
We invite you to join our Recreational Programs team and bring your enthusiasm, creativity and knowledge to our Camp and Youth programs.
We anticipate hiring 15-20 people in this role. We cannot guarantee hours but anticipate staff in support of these programs to commit to a full schedule.
