What can I expect to do in this role?

In this role, you will:
• work with geographically dispersed clients to provide authoritative technical advice and expertise to the design, development, and deployment of advanced and complex interactive applications in a multi-platform environment.
• provide solution and technical oversight for multiple projects at a time, including sharing expertise on standards, guidelines, and design patterns based on industry best practices for custom solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• collaborate with project team and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and create technical design documents.
• act as the technical Subject Matter Expert in meetings, presentations, and discussions.
• collaborate with the solution support team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• participate in code reviews, ensure code quality and maintain code repositories.
• provide guidance on solution as well as technical design and infrastructure, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states to deliver a solution.
• identify complex systems issues, determining areas of risk, and recommending innovative alternatives and options for resolution.
• develop reports and recommendations to support senior level decision-making.

How do I qualify?

Leadership Expertise and Project Management Knowledge:

As a technical lead with deep insight into the newest technologies and trends, you:
• have demonstrated knowledge and skills in managing and delivering concurrent medium and large scale, technically complex projects across a range of enterprise technologies
• have knowledge of project management principles, methodology, tools and best practices, in order to lead and manage multiple complex systems design and delivery projects.
• can identify, monitor, and manage risks and issues through to resolution or mitigation.
• have team leadership skills to develop and sustain effective technical (software development) teams and foster cooperation

Technical Expertise:

Because of your strong technical expertise, you have:
• hands-on experience with customization and configuration with Salesforce CRM, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Public Sector Foundations and Force.com Platform
• demonstrated experience with OmniStudio (Script), Apex, Visualforce and other technologies
• knowledge of or experience with other technologies such as Siebel, MS Dynamics, Java/JEE, multi-tiered I&IT technologies, PKI, LDAP, or Oracle DB
• knowledge of current methodologies pertaining to systems analysis, design, development, testing and implementation methods, data, applications, networking and security, to direct and oversee systems platform design, development, and maintenance
• worked in Agile development, understand the relationship with product manager, scrum master, designers and rest of technical team
• knowledge of service delivery management, resource management and operational planning for multiple complex systems platforms, in order to manage and optimize the full platform life cycle

Analytical and Problem Solving Skills:

With your strong analytical and problem solving skills, you can:
• assess and evaluate needs of clients for program delivery platforms (i.e. imaging, payment processing and data capture); and identify IT solutions to meet complex requirements
• identify and assess the impacts of new solutions or enhancements on existing services and infrastructure for performance, sustainability and robustness
• interpret and apply knowledge of OPS/cluster/ministry I&IT strategies, plans, operational and service delivery policies, directives, best practices and standards
• understand, assess and develop solutions for mitigating risk, where system failure would affect high volumes of public access, and create significant negative impact on program delivery and security
• analyze technical quality of systems design; and ensure consistency and compliance of business solutions

Communication skills:

You have:
• advisory skills to provide authoritative and persuasive technical advice
• interpersonal and stakeholder relations skills to maintain effective internal and multi-jurisdictional client relationships
• communication skills to prepare and present complex technical information and recommendations to non-technical audiences (e.g. senior management, business partners, stakeholders)
• consultation and collaboration skills to lead client discussions to identify I&IT solutions and provide technical expertise for strategy and systems platform development
