What can I expect to do in this role?

You will:

- provide project leadership in the planning, development and implementation of digital communications strategies
- provide strategic advice to support internal communications needs of clients across the OPS
- determine solutions and provide expert technical advice on concepts, issues and options for use of digital communications/social media
- develop and evaluate digital communications products and branding
- conduct feasibility studies
- prepare policies, research reports, toolkits, guidelines, training material, standards and project resources

- you have excellent project management and business planning skills to lead and coordinate digital communications strategies
- you demonstrate a high level of political acuity to implement deliverables for multiple stakeholders in a high pressure, high profile environment with competing deadlines
- you have excellent partnership building, consultation and interpersonal skills
- you can build relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders, and develop consensus among multiple points of view
- you have negotiation skills and can present clear and persuasive proposals for decision making
- you have excellent written communication skills to prepare a wide range of materials

Technical Skills and Knowledge

- you have expert knowledge of communications principles and practices, and diverse communications strategies and trends
- you have knowledge of corporate communications and information management
- you have practical experience using internal communications tools
- you demonstrate clear language writing and editing skills
- you have superior knowledge of intranet content management technologies
- you have videography, photography and design skills, and can use modern technology tools to develop integrated content

Research, Analytical and Decision Making Skills

- you have research, analytical and decision making skills to determine strategies for the complex and interdependent needs of customers with differing levels of expertise and information needs
- you demonstrate sound judgment to address issues effectively

Other Essential Skills
