Are you experienced in change management and stakeholder engagement with strong leadership skills? Do you have strong communication and stakeholder/relationship management skills? Are you interested in making a difference to vulnerable people in Ontario by helping to lead enterprise-wide change? If so, come showcase your change management and leadership skills as a Change Management Consultant with the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee. As a Change Management Consultant you will support the IT Modernization and work with senior leaders, managers, staff, and other stakeholders to assess the impact of change, develop and execute change management strategies and plans, and support the adoption and usage of required changes.

About the job

In this role, you will:
- Lead, plan, oversee, and manage the transition of change initiatives to support modernization project implementation
- Lead, develop and co-ordinate development and delivery of change management workshops and activities
- Develop consultation plans and facilitate key internal and external stakeholder consultations, focus groups, workshops, presentations, and meetings to drive faster adoption of change.
- Provide team leadership to assigned project staff, including determining priorities, assigning work, monitoring work quality/progress, and providing technical guidance and solutions
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and foster an environment of trust and open conversations.

What you bring to the team


Change Management and Business Analysis Skills:

• You have knowledge of, and experience with communications and change management principles, standards and methodologies including Prosci ADKAR and have experience applying them to large-scale complex agile projects
• You have an understanding of program business needs and advise on organizational effectiveness and transition
• You have financial management skills to lead the monitoring, management and reporting of section/project budgets.

Project Management and Team Leadership Skills:

• You have knowledge of project management methodology and practices
• You have excellent team leadership and motivational skills to build teams, encourage participation, motivate colleagues and create opportunities for success.
• You can support effective implementation of both the new IT system and Organizational changes
• You have the ability to prepare leadership team and managers to support and lead change in the organization

Relationship Management, Consultation and Communication Skills:

• You have expert communication and consultation skills to provide advice to senior management, stakeholders and clients
• You have strong collaboration and client management skills to establish effective working relationships, negotiate outcomes and resolve implementation issues
• You have presentation and facilitation skills to lead workshops and make presentations
• You have the communication skills to develop an ongoing 'campaign' and Change Champion Program to raise organizational awareness of modernization initiative

Analytical and Computer Skills:

• You can conduct research, provide accurate environmental assessment, and make recommendations on communication and change management requirements and develop Communications and Change Management Plans
• You can assess change initiatives, interpret and analyze data, and what new programs or policies need to be developed
• You are proficient in standard desktop computer applications.
