Note: Effective April 1, 2024 the salary range for this position is $88,496.00 to $128,625.00 per year in compliance with AMAPCEO collective agreement provisions. The new rates, effective retroactive to April 1, 2024, were recently confirmed and dates for implementation of the new salary rates are still to be determined.

What can I expect to do in this role?
You will:
.• Provide advice to Treasury Board/Management Board of Cabinet (TB/MBC), the Minister, the Deputy Minister and executive management on strategic business, fiscal/financial, policy and planning initiatives.
• Develop partnerships and consult with stakeholders on a range of projects and initiatives.
• Support strategic planning by developing financial and written input for the annual provincial budget and other public documents.
• Negotiate and resolve issues on the interpretation and analysis of business plans, reports and submissions.
• Analyze major policy issues and assess the impact of initiatives.
• Prepare, coordinate and present a range of briefing materials to facilitate decision-making.
