What can I expect to do in this role?

Your role will include:

- Providing specialized and confidential secretarial and administrative services to the Senior Management team
- Providing clerical support services to various units/areas of the institution in a confidential setting
- Utilising a range of software in producing varied materials
- Assisting in recruitment administration, budget and financial statistics preparation and taking confidential minutes
- Working both independently and as a team member.

How do I qualify?

Mandatory

- Typing to 50 wpm.

Your knowledge and abilities will include:

- Demonstrated knowledge of general office practices and procedures and workload flow procedures
- Demonstrated knowledge of computer software programs such as word processing, email, spreadsheet, database and presentation applications
- Ability to produce correspondence, reports, graphs, statistical compilations and graphics
- Ability to edit and format text, create spreadsheets, prepare tables and charts and prepare business reports
- Ability to work independently, using sound judgement in identifying important issues and ensuring appropriate action is taken.

Your skills will include:

- Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Able to recognise and respond appropriately to matters of high level confidentiality
- Organizational and time management skills.
