What can I expect to do in this role?

At CPRI, you will have the opportunity to work in a regional children's centre that strives for excellence in the provision of services to children and youth with complex mental health and developmental challenges.

You will:
• perform a wide variety of cleaning and housekeeping duties on an assigned basis;
• utilize specialized cleaning processes; and,
• carry out minor maintenance duties as required, to maintain CPRI's high sanitary and cleaning standards.

How do I qualify?

Cleaning skills:

• You have demonstrated knowledge of sanitation and cleaning procedures, cleaning equipment, materials and methods
• You can lift 10 kg to fulfill the physical requirements of the position, including pulling and lifting trash bags, pushing and pulling cleaning equipment, moving, loading and unloading furniture and furnishings, and performing preventative maintenance on floor surfaces
• You have knowledge of WHMIS and Occupational Health & Safety Standards

Communication and teamwork skills:

• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and communicate well with colleagues and clients
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
