The Corporate Services Division requires an Information Security Officer who will be responsible for:

• Development and delivery of an enterprise wide comprehensive security program
• Ensuring appropriate use of the AGCO's information holdings
• Providing expertise regarding OPS statutory and regulatory requirements
• Developing a Risk Assessment and Incident Prevention program
• Developing the mechanisms to guard the agencies information sources from external or internal threats
How do I qualify?
Knowledge and Skills
Under the general direction of the Chief Administrative Officer, the candidate will have functional experience and technical understanding of information security policies, best practices and industry standards. You will liaise with business partners such as the Information Technology Department and Legal Offices to develop and disseminate the appropriate security protocols across the Agency. You will use your excellent analytical and problem solving skills to prepare audit reports, a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan.
The ideal candidate will have a background in I.T. architecture or infrastructure and a strong working knowledge of risk assessment program targeting for information security; recommend methods for vulnerability detection and remediation, and can oversee vulnerability testing
You will have the ability to develop and implement an Incident Report and Response System to address AGCO's security incidents (breaches), respond to alleged policy violations, or complaints.
You are able to multitask, meet deadlines and strive for excellence in customer service; as well as, maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of staff. You are willing to travel within Ontario to regional offices.
