Your excellent analytical and customer service skills are needed to support the administration of various tax credit programs in this opportunity with the Program Delivery Division.

NOTE: The number of positions to be filled has not been identified at this time. This competition will be used to create an eligibility list of qualified candidates to fill upcoming full-time Permanent or Temporary (various duration) opportunities within the next eighteen months following the closing date of the job ad posting.

What can I expect to do in this role?

You will:

- review and analyze applications and exception reports
- resolve eligibility questions and discrepancies
- provide information and customer service to a diverse client group
- collect monies for adjusted/disallowed payments and tax credits, and generate payments when eligible

How do I qualify?

Knowledge:

- knowledge of tax credits and benefits programs to ensure compliance and to collect delinquent accounts
- ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- understanding of related federal and provincial programs to appropriately refer clients
- knowledge of collection activities to ensure maximum recovery of payments and determine appropriate course of action

Skills:

- analytical skills and ability to exercise sound judgment
- planning and organizational skills to set priorities, meet program deadlines and maintain high levels of productivity
- excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- experience with online and batch computer systems and ability to use computer software
