• provide social and economic impact analysis of proposals
• develop stakeholder partnerships and consultations
• coordinate contract management and oversight
• identify and manage contentious issues
• provide advice to senior management on transportation funding and other cooperative services issues

How do I qualify?

Technical expertise:

You have:
• knowledge of economic and statistical analysis theories and techniques to perform costing analysis, determine funding impacts, and evaluate financial, economic and operational impacts of best practices and benchmarking recommendations provided by external consultants

Project and contract management, negotiation and strategic thinking skills:

You have:
• knowledge of project and contract management, including coordination skills in a multi-project environment
• strong negotiation and strategic thinking skills to develop strategy, anticipate issues and work with all levels across the organization, service providers and education sector stakeholders

Education sector knowledge:

You have:
• ability to acquire and apply knowledge of the Ontario elementary and secondary education system, including applicable legislation, regulations, programs and school board funding framework to undertake policy, program analysis and strategic and operational planning for student transportation reform

Communication skills:

You have:
• excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills to prepare and present material for senior management, central agencies and external organizations
• strong interpersonal skills to work well in a team environment

Computer proficiency:

You have:
• proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software

    As a result of the recently agreed to AMAPCEO collective agreement, a new job evaluation system will be implemented on October 1, 2013. In the new job evaluation system, the classification level of this position is Level 6 with a salary range of $69,680.00 - $99,600.00.
