We are currently seeking a seasoned Project Manager to work within the Portfolio Program Management Office (PPMO). As part of the Strategy and Policy Division, PPMO works closely with all divisions and project leads in support of the AGCO's transformation agenda. In addition, the PPMO is taking a lead role in the design, development and implementation of a large and complex foundational initiative. The PPMO is structured into three units: Project Management, Enterprise Portfolio Management and Innovations.
What can I expect to do in this role?
Reporting to the Manager of Project Management, you will use your current and applied knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices to:
• Ensure that enterprise projects and programs are planned, monitored and completed within the required timelines and in accordance with the PPMO governance framework
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, performance measures, status reports and risk management plans (among other project artifacts)
• Collaborate with PPMO Management on evaluating and recommending improvement and effectiveness of project management governance
• Manage and lead procurement activities as they relate to projects
• Provide direction on project strategies, issues and changes
• Ensure that project interdependencies within programs are effectively managed
How do I qualify?
Knowledge and Skills
The Ideal Candidate will have:
• Demonstrated strong project management and consultation experience
• Knowledge of enterprise portfolio management principles and tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with proven abilities in delivering results within tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, team leadership and coaching skills with a history of building solid working relationships with stakeholders, partners and project team members
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
