There are three Program and Service Delivery Intern opportunities. You will be asked to identify and rank which area(s) you are interested in applying for in your cover letter:

Employment and Training Division, Northern Region
• The development of a Northern Region Indigenous stakeholder strategy, including the reach out to our Northern Indigenous communities
• Assist with the coordination and dovetailing of current and planned activities occurring in the North Region (EST/SSM)
• Collaboration, engagement and fact finding on other inter ministerial projects (such as the Mines and Minerals strategies, MTO road projects, MNDMNRF forestry and biomass)

Employment and Training Division, Western Region

• We are looking for a motivated individual to provide program and service delivery support within a supportive and professional team. The opportunity will allow you to apply strong analytical, problem solving, communication, networking, and leadership skills by assisting with projects and diverse work within the Ministry's Employment and Training Division.
• Key activities will include stakeholder engagement and consultation; committee and working group participation; project planning, analysis, support, and monitoring; and preparation of briefing materials, planning documents, reports etc.

Prevention Division, Training and Awareness Branch, Toronto
• Are you a results-oriented individual with strong research, analysis, communication, and teamwork skills? Consider this exciting opportunity with the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development's Training and Awareness Unit in the Prevention Division, where you will provide specialized research and analysis to inform strategies, policies and standards and program development and implementation, to support the organization in occupational health and safety program and service delivery.
• The Training & Awareness Unit (TAU) is responsible for developing and establishing Chief Prevention Officer (CPO) training standards and building other innovative occupational health and safety programs to support safer Ontario workplaces. In addition, TAU is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to address gaps in the occupational health and safety system particularly focused on training, awareness and occupational health and safety culture.

Mandatory

• You must have graduated from a college or university, with a degree, diploma or post-graduate certificate, within the past 5 years.
• You must be an Indigenous person (i.e. First Nations, Métis, Inuit).
